Syria’s Forgotten Families

On Sunday 2 October we will be celebrating Harvest Thanksgiving which this year is titled Syria’s Forgotten Families.

Syria’s Forgotten Families tells the story of Syrian refugees who have fled to the safety of Lebanon, leaving their lives in Syria behind because of ongoing conflict, terrorism and war.

The Hishami family have been refugees for three years. They are some of the luckier ones, and still their lives are a constant struggle. BMS World Mission has been helping refugees like dad Ali and 18-month-old Nermine for years with essential relief aid – and personnel and partners in Lebanon are also doing wonderful long-term work in providing education and promoting inclusion for those forced to live outside the country they still call home.

This harvest, we will have the opportunity to support BMS World Mission’s long-term work with refugee families.
