During Lent there will be a Lunch served on Fridays at FBC in support of the work of Open Doors.

Organised by Churches Together in Faversham, the Lent Lunches start on Friday 28 February and continue until 3 April. Lunch will be served from 12 noon until 2pm for a suggested minimum donation of £3 per head. Delicious homemade soup, bread and cheese is on the menu.

Each Faversham church is responsible for a Friday during Lent, and will supply the food and personnel. (FBC is having a year off this year!)

The proceeds from the lunches are sent to the Churches Together in Faversham nominated charity for the year. This year it is Open Doors, who support persecuted Christians with Bibles, Christian materials, training, livelihood skills, advocacy – and in a whole host of other ways – so that they know they are not forgotten and can stand strong to serve their communities. .
