During the sermon yesterday (Sunday 10th January: Let's Talk About Jesus)  Geoff spoke about his visit to Source of Light Ministries in Thakurpukur, Kolkata.

There he met Rev Karunakar Jena and his wife Susmita along with around 35 church planters and evangelists.

Geoff related how it was an immense privilege to listen to them all speaking of their faith and their desire to share Jesus. They had come together, some from a significant distance and all sacrificing a day's income, to encourage one another and pray together

After a meal, the Minister's Team was taken to a house church near New Alipore where they worshipped and prayed with around 30 people under a tarpaulin. It was exciting to be sharing with first generation Christians who once again testified to their faith in the Lord Jesus. It was like something out of a first century church. The Holy Spirit inspired a spontaneous time of prayer, testimony, biblical preaching, intercession and singing. Here's a video taken during the visit.
