Prayer

FBC Prayer

We believe that prayer is vital and is at the heart of everything we do.

There are regular times of prayer for the whole church. We have a meeting for prayer monthly, generally on the second Saturday of the month, at 9am, and also during Church Night on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm. Check the diary for the latest dates.

Prayer is also an essential part of our church services, housegroups and other activities during the week.

Daily Prayer from Faversham Baptist Church

Each day we publish prayer reminders from the FBC community, including prayer material from Care and BMS World Mission.

Care’s mission is to declare Christian truth and demonstrate Christ’s compassion in society, by promoting Christian action, research and education to support children, single people, marriage and family life effectively; encouraging Christians to pray for society and to recognise the dignity and worth of every individual person from fertilisation to life’s natural end; helping Christians to understand social and moral issues in public policy, education and the community; challenging Christians to become actively involved in the democratic process, to be effective salt and light where there is a need for truth and justice; and equipping Christians to show the love of Christ in their communities through practical caring.

BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation, working in around 35 countries on four continents. BMS personnel are mainly involved in church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, and media and advocacy.
