The Evangelical Baptist Church has existed in the area of Varna since 1927.The Church building was demolished in 1985 by the decision of the local authorities and the church was forced to move to the suburbs of the city.

In 1989, a small group of believers started to live with the vision of the church being returned to the centre of the city. For seven years this group of people grew in number, relocating from one place to another, seeking a place for their house of prayer. God provided the solution when in 1999 the Church obtained one part of the property it owns today. The church's aim is to serve God, bringing peace, blessing and encouragement to the people in the neighbourhood and the entire city.

The church building is still under construction, but when it is finished, it will be one of the city’s churches, which is equipped with the most modern facilities. There will be two halls with about 400 seats in total with audio and video equipment, simultaneous translation audio system, and a ministry for the deaf. The building also has a medical room and dental surgery, as well as a restaurant for about 100-150 people. In the dining room area there will be a small Internet Café.

A church library and a bookshop will be available to offer Christian literature. A quiet room will be set-aside for prayer. A classroom with Internet connection will be used for holding studies and courses.

The Main Worship Hall is equipped with a crèche where parents will be able to leave their children under supervision and care while they participate in the service.
