Rob Bell: Orthodox or Heretic?
The book everyone has been talking / blogging about is finally out. Love Wins: At The Heart Of Life’s Big Questions is published today. You may, like me, think you know a lot about the book already – I’ve probably read more words about it than are actually in it. (If you’ve missed this, blog wars broke out after a blogger questioned whether Rob Bell was a universalist – the idea that everyone goes to heaven regardless of what they believe or have done – after reading the back cover of Bell’s new book). High-profile Christian leaders have been weighing in on all sides of the debate. It may be a while before I get around to reading Love Wins but in the meantime here are some links I’ve found helpful.
Read Chapter One from the book online here.

And the last word goes to The Parish who comments on the heretic vs orthodoxy debate, and concludes ‘I’m moving on to other things..nothing to see here, folks—just a pastor selling books and a brilliant marketing plan.’
