Today was an amazing experience. First we went to the Hatibagan Mobile School. When we got on the bus with the street children they kept touching our faces and hair. Some of the children in the school are really clever at maths and loved us giving them more sums to do. The children loved our company and they loved playing with us. The school ranged from 2 and a half to 11 years old.

In the afternoon we went to the Entally Baptist Girls Hostel. When we walked in it was a totally different experience from the morning. Some of the girls were playing hockey and some were running races. Some of the girls spoke very good English and we had normal conversations with them. When we got our cameras out they loved us taking photos of them. A couple of the girls told me that they loved to dance.

Before we went to the Mobile School and the Girls Hostel I didn’t know what to expect but the Mobile School was set out how the schools are in England which made me more confident, and the girls were really friendly and welcoming.
