- 12.30 We’ve had a lovely morning driving over the river to Howrah, then coming back to visit St Paul’s Cathedral . . . #
- . . . and the Victoria Memorial. We counted how many times William Carey was mentioned on the info boards. #
- We met a church planter working in the Himalayas called Babu. Just literally bumped into him in the Victoria Memorial. #
- Outside, some of us (not me) were mistaken for celebrities and had pictures taken by Indians and Chinese. #
- It is of course Bethan’s birthday today. #
- 15.00 Going for a walk down to the Park Street area. Might take the auto rickshaw. #
- 16.45 Nice browse round Oxford Bookstore and Musicland (both with a/c) then back to BMS. #
- 17.35 Tomorrow we will be going to the church service at Colinga Baptist, Pastor Asis’ church. #
- Likely to be singing: Great Is He (in 3 parts!), Shine (inevitably), and Strength Will Rise or Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord. #
- 20.10 More work on the sermon needed. It’s Galatians by the way. #
