  • 06.30 We’re going to the mobile school for street children at Hatibagan this morning. #
  • 07.50 Waiting for the school bus. Ready to be mobbed by all the children. We love it! #
  • It has to be said though that England’s victory in the cricket is not making us very popular. #
  • 09.20 Just been singing with the children. Now it’s The Story of the Lost Giacomo again. Steve is telling it. #
  • Ollie is getting ready to do his bit. #
  • 10.00 Teaching today – Steve and Bethan. So far. #
  • 10.45 Emily has been teaching the older ones. The stickers have gone down well. #
  • Lots of colouring happening now. #
  • Paper aeroplanes and playtime. #
  • 12.10 Now for the journey home with dozens of tired, hyperactive, joyful, wonderful children in a sweltering bus. #
  • Ollie behaved himself and wasn’t rude to the children. In fact he was a little bit shy! They loved him though. Who doesn’t? #
  • 13.45 Lunch over. List of jobs for this afternoon: sort out Suits Bazaar (Debbie), confirm return flights, withdraw money . . . #
  • . . . communicate with home, update blog with Steve. If we have time, we’d like to get back to the Mother House. #
  • Please pray for the dedicated and hard working staff of the Hatibagan mobile school, ministering to the street children of Kolkata. #
  • Just read that my daughter missed University Challenge last night. See what happens when I’m not around? #
  • 16.00 At least some of us will be visiting the Mother House soon – just up the road from BMS. #
  • 17.45 Spent the last hour and a half learning about the life of Mother Theresa. Very moving and challenging. #
  • 18.00 We’ve hardly seen the sun today. Very overcast but humid and sultry. We have been sweating profusely. Next up, Team Time! #
  • 20.05 Steve led our Team Time this evening. Are we willing to make ourselves vulnerable so that God can use us? 2 Cor 12:9-10 #
