Saddle up with FBC for the Faversham Charity Bike Ride in May! Preparations are already well underway for our participation in this year’s Bike Ride –  Faversham’s 19th – which will be held on Sunday 6 May 2012, starting from the Recreation Ground.

Churches Together will be holding their Open Air Service at 9.45am, followed by the ride itself, leaving at 11am.

The ride, raising funds for local charities, is open to all, young and old, and follows a 10-mile circular route through the beautiful countryside around Faversham, starting and finishing at the Recreation Ground. The event will have an Olympic theme for 2012.

Youngsters can ride accompanied by their parents, but there is also a circuit especially for younger cyclists around the Recreation Ground.

For spectators, apart from the thrill of the ride, there will be stalls, entertainment and refreshments.

All riders must register and if you are interested in riding with us please speak to Kev or Kate. We will be raising funds jointly for the Christian Aid West Africa Food Crisis Appeal and Operation Wellfound.
