This year Christian Aid Week is 13 – 19 May. As in previous years we will be joining volunteers from other Faversham churches to collect money for this year’s appeal.

Christian Aid Week is seven amazing days of fundraising, action and prayer. It’s a time when communities all over the country get together to raise funds to make real and lasting changes in the lives of some of the world’s poorest people. It has now become the country’s biggest ‘house-to-house’ collection and this year the aim is to raise over £13 millionfor poor communities around the world – to help them find ways to improve their lives and have a brighter future.

It’s the passion and dedication of people like us who get involved every year that makes Christian Aid Week such an extraordinary stand against world poverty. More than 200,000 people will go door-to-door in their local communities – making sure that the Christian Aid Week envelope reaches as many people as possible. Will you be one of them?
