Easter Prayer Labyrinth

This month’s Café Church will be a quiet reflective space for individuals to walk through the Easter story. It will take the form of a Prayer Labyrinth.

A labyrinth pattern is laid out on the floor with a variety of ‘stations’ for prayer along the way. People can follow the path at their own pace; they are free to leave out any they feel uncomfortable with, or spend longer in prayer at an installation that really challenges or moves them. The labyrinth pattern we are going to use is a pattern inspired by an ancient fountain in Damascus. The experience will be very similar to the one we ran back in April 2009.

As always, children are very welcome at Kids Zone which will be running downstairs.

The all important date is Sunday 20 March. The Prayer Labyrinth will be open from 10am and Kids Zone starts at 10.30am. Lunch is provided at 12 noon for anyone who wants to stay.

Kaleidoscope: Church – but not as we know it. Why not give it a go!
