Morning Worship

On every Sunday but the first in the month we have a regular Morning Worship service (details below), which begins at 10.30am. We also run Cafe Church monthly on the first Sunday, and The Evening Gathering on the second Sunday at 7pm.
We meet at:
The Meeting Place, St Mary's Road, Faversham, Kent, ME13 8EH
There is parking available in the Institute Road car park behind our building.
You can expect a warm welcome; great worship; relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
On most Sundays we have a programme lined up for children from the age of five. Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs), together for the first part of the morning. We sing some hymns and many newer songs (we have a music group), and all our words are displayed on a large screen at the front of the church. If it is difficult for you to see the words on the screen, then please let us know as alternatives are available. The screen is also used to display notices, images and videos relevant to our worship services. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the bible. Sometimes people share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This might seem strange the first time you hear it but it’s all part of our connecting with God. Children are free to move around and join in as they wish.
At some point someone will announce that it’s time for the younger members to go to their group. The first time they attend, you will need to go with your children to their groups and register them as part of our child safety policy.
Parents of younger children are welcome to keep them in the service, where there are toys, books and sofas!
For more information about our children's work throughout the week please visit the Children's Ministry page.
One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service. We try to keep things relaxed and want all our visitors to feel comfortable. Everything is explained as we go along, and no-one minds if you don’t know the songs or you’d rather not sing!
After the main meeting finishes there will an be opportunity for prayer if needed, and the chance to chat and enjoy tea, coffee, biscuits and (sometimes) cake. Refreshments are free.
Come and join us!
