God is looking for those who are obedient and committed to him, so that he can protect, bless, heal and cause them to thrive. God is a good Father who longs to refill, restore, refresh and recalibrate our lives.

Are we prepared to go out of our depth and let ourselves get caught up in God’s story?

The Christian faith is not just believing, it’s about following. And that can be a pretty big ask. To be a Christian is to follow Jesus, whatever the cost.

We all know what these words do not mean but we don’t often spend a lot of time wondering what they do mean. Jesus is calling for total commitment here. Jesus' words and ideas in Mark 9 call us all up short.
