Boundaries are good. God's rules come from the heart of a loving Father who knows what is good for us and who wants the very best for us.

Jesus does not call disciples to himself to make their lives easy and prosperous, but to make them holy and productive. Willingness to take up their cross is the mark of the true disciple.

God has called Christians to holiness and community. Faithfulness to God is a team sport that requires the unity of the church.

If the gospel means anything, it means God will take you just as you are right now. He yearns for your love, he calls you by his Spirit, and he will not let you rest until you find rest in him.

You can’t fool God. He isn’t impressed by outward show unless it is accompanied by a humble heart with the right attitude.
