How can we be more outward-focussed, open, welcoming, hospitable, loving, generous and kind as people and as a community, making space for the Gospel to flourish?

Jesus is instructing those who follow Him to "give" themselves to others: with kindness, forgiveness, generous love. We are to be as merciful as God is to us.

Being honest with ourselves, we all stumble through life saying foolish things that wound those closest to us. How we use our tongue reveals our spiritual maturity, or lack of it.

James wants us to discover the freedom that comes when we respond the right way to the pressures of life.
