The second half of Exodus covers the formation of God's chosen people into his new community, but there are some initial lessons to be learnt. There are three tests: a listening test, a loyalty test and a leadership test.

The difference between great faith and little faith is not one of quantity. Faith does not work like that. Faith allows God to do for us and with us what we could never do alone.
